Friday the 13th!

Love this day! It's such fun, partially because so many people are so silly about it.

I have a poem celebrtating the day up at Circadian Poems -- check it out if you get a chance. It's one of four really cool poems.

Am I allowed to say I don't understand Chloe Ann Clementine's poem at all? I mean, I like it, I like the words and the images and the rhythm . . .but I don't get it. I'm not sure what it adds up to, yet I like the feeling I have at the end of it.

It's way to warm for winter -- wonder if we'll be ice skating in parking lots come June!

A New Poem

I've got a new poem, called "Sparkle" up on Circadian Poems. Check it out when you get a chance.

It's not easy to stay positive with all that's happened in the world right now. I mourn the dead miners in W. VA; I mourn for those who've lost their homes in California, Oklahoma, and Texas.

And then I see a crocus trying to push up, even though it's January, and I'm filled with wonder.

I'm so sorry I've been offline for far too long.

I intend to remedy that in the coming year.

My resolution for 2006 is to live with joy in each and every moment.

Even those moments in which it's difficult.

"Find the Joy" is my mantra (even if it sounds slightly naught) ;)
